Thank you for visiting Great Dane Candle Co. and wanting to know a bit about us.
Great Dane Candle Co. was started for only two reasons: To be a family-run business of hand poured premium quality candles and other products at fair and affordable prices. We are also an animal-loving family who gives back to our animal rescues. The co-founder is a nationally certified Vet-nurse for over 12 years. Our primary goal is to assist and support animal rescues in the greater Las Vegas valley
     We are always proud of the products we make for our customers, in turn customers get a quality candle that they are happy with. Why pay more for a candle in a big box store that does not have the same quality control as we do. We care about each candle that goes to our customer.
 

What makes our products wonderful?
Here are a few reasons:

How and why did we get started?

  My wife a vet-nurse, who has been involved with animal rescue since we met over 20 years ago. We have owned many animals and currently have 3 Great Danes 1 pug and 2 cats. She was involved with the pug rescue in Las Vegas Nv. For many years until they had to shut down due to financial reasons.  We saw the struggle that most rescues go through and wanted to help even more than just fostering.

 

I was watching youtube and came across candle making. I thought to myself this could be fun. I had a vinyl business, so I knew starting a business was not that bad. I bought the needed supplies and started to test for months, until I finally came up with a very good candle with good cold and hot throw that filled the house. What is a cold and hot throw you ask.  A cold throw is when the candle is not lit and you can smell the scent. A hot throw is when the candle is lit and you can smell the scent through out the house.

 

 After that, I started to build my supply and sell to friends and in a small antique store. I was very pleased to have received many compliments on our candles.

 Great Dane Candle Company was born.
